Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy is a charitable organisation that provides a range of services to Queensland Ambulance Service families who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Should an ambulance legacy member die, Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy is there to help the spouse and children who are left behind.
The Queensland Ambulance Legacy scheme strives to ensure that no surviving spouse, partner or child will ever feel forgotten.
We provide ongoing support to Ambulance Family members across the state. The QAS Legacy Scheme is predominantly funded through fortnightly tax deductible payroll contributions from current members. Other funding comes from bequests and tax free donations, often from retired paramedics or members of the public expressing appreciation for work done by ambulance staff in the community.
Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
Queensland Ambulance Legacy receives no government funding; it is funded by donations and fundraising. You can help Legacy continue to provide its valuable programs by donating.
Donations to assist with the ongoing support of the “Legacy families” can be made by Payroll Deduction or Direct Deposit.
