Medic Marathon - World Record Run
Queensland Ambulance Service Legacy Scheme is a compassionate charity that assists Queensland Ambulance Officers and their families to ensure they are supported in times of need.
Currently the QAS Legacy Scheme provides support to three families and four school aged children. We have a variety of annual grants to help support these children to help reduce the impact on their education that the lost of one of their parents may have.
QAS Legacy Scheme also provides immediate assistance to the family of Ambulance Officers that have passed away as well as evaluated for support for QAS families with terminally ill children.
With your support of the QAS Legacy Scheme we can continue to provide this support to your Ambulance Officers.
On Sunday 19th August Queensland Paramedic Ryan Hansen is running the 2018 Sunshine Coast Marathon dressed in his Paramedic uniform to raise funds for the QAS Legacy Scheme... Plus he will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the "Fastest marathon dresses as a paramedic (male)". Get behind Ryan and show your support by donating directly to the QAS Legacy Scheme using the link below.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Official tax receipts will be emailed to all supporters weekly.
